JOPLIN, MO.--- Missouri Southern University's International Studies Department offers 9 different short term options for students to learn overseas, as well as several other semester long options. There were also stations at the fair to let students know about the different grants and scholarships available to fund these international trips.

"Studying abroad can provide a student with so many skills they might not acquire otherwise, self confidence, coping, problem solving, navigational skills," states Dr. Chad Stebbins, International Studies Department Head.

This fair is held in conjunction with other activities during the university's observance of International Education Week.
