JASPER COUNTY, MO.---- Look 4 States and the family of Larry Jones paid for 1 of 2 new signs near the intersection of Ivy Road and Country Road 215, and county donated a second. The signs are designed to help make drivers aware of the presence of bicyclists on Ivy road. Today would have been Larry Jones' birthday, the signs have been placed where he was killed in an accident in 2010.

"We need to translate that awareness into an actuall feel for the drivers to recognize, hey, if that was a backhoe up there, I'd slow down, but it's just a small bicycle, so I don't see them," states Mark Morris, Look 4 States.

Members of Look 4 States say they are working to get more areas in Jasper County marked to help raise more awareness.
