One Community of Hearts and Hands Festival

JOPLIN, MO.--- The Lantz Hare Foundation is hosting the 'One Community of Hearts and Hands Festival' at the Bridge in Joplin. Volunteers started the organization to honor the memory of Lantz Hare, who died in the May 22nd tornado. A breakfast and silent auction, will be held to raise money to provide kids with scholarships to the Bridge and Autumn Ramp Skate Park. Lantz's mother, Michelle, says the Bridge was an important part of her son's life.

"This is where my son spent a lot of his pre teen and teen time. it was a great positive place for him to come and actually want to spread the word," states Michelle Hare, Founder, Lantz Hare Foundation.

The Bridge is located at 3405 South Hamonds Boulevard in Joplin. The silent auction will last from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. a bounce house, cake and pie walk, and a skate competition will start at 1 p.m. Anyone who plans to use the skate park will have to pay $9 for a 4 hour pass. All other events are free.
