PSU Gets Top Kansas Award

PITTSBURG, KS-- A local university is being recognized as a top school in the state. Pittsburg State was chosen as the first ever recipient of the "Sound Governance" award. It's handed out by the Kansas Conference of the American Association of Univeristy Professors ... and means the university got highest marks in a survey of 40 different governance related areas. PSU President Dr. Steve Scott said it's a "validation of our efforts to support shared governance on our campus as well as our commitment to clear and continual communication with all the people who make pittsburg state university a great place to work and to learn."
