JOPLIN, MO.--- Anxious customers waited outside of Joplin Kohl's for 6 hours before the store's Black Friday opening. Many of them said it was worth it. The line made up of hundreds of people wrapped around the store's building. Shoppers ran in cheering once mangers opened the double doors, excited to go hunt for the good deals. Kohl's store manger says it's the biggest and most enthusiastic crowd he's seen in 5 years.
"We really enjoy it. Our first customer came at 6 p.m. tonight, so 6 hours prior to our midnight opening. They were excited about it, they got smiles on their faces so we really enjoy it," states Erick Byrd, Kohl's Store Manager.
The top deals at Kohl's this year were cooking appliances including flat iron grills and crock pots.
