JOPLIN, MO.--- Members of the Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri presented Rotary Club members with a check for $20,000. The funds will go toward construction costs of the Miracle Field baseball facility.

"This is something that can help the kids that were hurt in the tornado that maybe can't play on the regular playground. This is somewhere they can play and be included, and we decided it would be an asset to all of Joplin," states Stephanie Howard, Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri.

Rotary members expect to open the park in fall 2013.
