JOPLIN, MO.--- Family Pharmacy on 32nd Street in Joplin is hosting the Shoe boxes for Soldiers Program. You're encouraged to fill a large flat rate box. SoliderS are asking for everything from shaving cream to beef jerky to DVD's and board games. Organizers encourage people to put something in the box they'd like to receive if they were far from home.

"We support our troops. We love them. We want everybody overseas, they do so much for us. We just want to do something for them," states Elizabeth Wachira, Family Pharmacy.

The last day to drop off your box is on December 5th. You'll need to bring $14 to pay for shipping and also don't forget to include a thank you card for their service.
