JOPLIN, MO.--- The Southwest Region Workforce Investment Board is helping the displaced workers file for unemployment benefits and begin the process of looking for work. The services are being provided free of charge. Anyone who lost their job when Hostess closed is being encouraged to file for unemployment insurance and then attend a rapid response meeting this Friday at 10 a.m. at the Missouri Career Center in Joplin.
