JOPLIN, MO.--- If anyone has a guardian angel looking out for them, it's Danya Walker. She's an angel collector and she has more than 200 of them in her collection.
"They're comforting . The thought of guardian angels, someone looking out for us. They're beautiful," states Danya Walker, Collector.
She says if a guardian angel wants to watch out for her, she's all for it.
"It'd be nice to think that someone is watching out. Cause I like to make mistakes. It'd be nice for someone to catch those," states Danya.
Half of her collection is on display at the Joplin Public Library, the other half is in her home. Many of them are on her angel tree. She has been married to her husband Jason for 17 years and he understands the hobby.
"Lets say I tolerate her collection," states Jason Walker, Husband.
He says it makes shopping for Christmas a bit easier and it gives her something to do.
"Keeps her off the streets as my dad would say," states Jason.
"I think all of us have a little bit of obsessive compulsive personalities. It's just a fun way to let that out," states Danya.
There is one angel that's been to hell and back.
"It got knocked off and one of her bells fell off her hands. It was not a good day for us. Nobody wanted to own up to it, me or the girls. No one would confess," states Jason.
"Did you do it?"
"I don't really remember and I'm surely not going to admit it on TV," states Jason.
