JOPLIN, MO.--- Local technology company leaders broke ground on a 40,000 square foot, 3 story office center. It will house 3 companies including Plyr, Audio input, and Wyerless. The facility will be built in the parking lot behind McCalisters and Liberty Bank off of Range Line road. Innovative Objects currently employs 25 employees, and the CEO hopes to expand to nearly 60 employees over the next 2 years in technical IT related fields.

"It's going to obviously bring more taxpayers into the market, more consumers in the market, the IT field is a generally higher paying field in a lot of areas, so we're going to bring a lot of high paying jobs to this area," states Russ Grundy, Innovative Objects CEO.

Construction crews will begin work in January. Company leaders hope the project will be complete within 6 to 8 months.
