REDINGS MILL, MO.--- Fire crews responded to an explosion South of Joplin. It happened around 4:45 at a home on Coyote Drive and 5 Mile Road. Witnesses tell us a burn barrel turned over, causing a garage to catch fire. They then say the truck inside the garage exploded, blowing the roof off the structure. The fire also caused heat and smoke damage to the near by mobile home, but most of the damage was cosmetic. No injuries have been reported. Crews from Redings Mill and Seneca responded. Coyote Drive was closed for more than 2 hours while first responders were on scene.
