NEOSHO, MO--- The Angel Tree at Griffith Motor Company in Neosho, is where residents can find the name of a foster child and what they would like for Christmas. Friends of the Newton County Social Services are hoping to provide presents for 33 children. Volunteers say a few extra items on your shopping list could make this holiday season special for one boy or girl.

Angel Tree Organizer, Christi Sims says, " These children are away from their families for the holiday and we just want them to have a memorable Christmas. Maybe distract a little bit from what is going on with the family situation and let them know that their community is thinking about them and caring about them during this difficult time."

Volunteers are hoping to have all of the present under the tree by Wednesday, December 19th.
