CARTHAGE, MO--- Carthage Police Officers say around 6:15 last night, two people stabbed Butterball Plant security guard, Brandon Goodwin, in the lower abdomen. Goodwin suffered minor injuries and has since been released from the hospital. At this point, police do not have a description of the two suspects.

"He reported to us that he was stabbed by two assailants that ran off. Really at this point, we are totally unsure of the motive, that's something we're working on," says Greg Dagnan, Carthage Police Chief.
