JOPLIN, MO.--- Workers are busy laying concrete for the new monument near the corner of 32nd and Jackson. It will eventually become a tall stone fixture in a park area for Freeman employees to enjoy. Project leaders say the high visibility location on Freeman's campus will make it easily accessible to employees as well as anyone from the community.

"It's a dedication to the volunteers, the doctors, the staff, the community, at large that all came together that night to help this community at it's time of need," states Wes Braman, Freeman VP of Business Development.

Project leaders say it's expected to be completed by early Spring.
