Missouri Highway Patrol Holiday Travel Warnings

MISSOURI--- Sergeant Mike Watson says they are putting more patrol cars out on state highways, making sure drivers are obeying the law and arrive to their destinations for Christmas safely. He says travelers should plan accordingly for traffic and weather conditions. Watson says watch your speed, wear your seat belts, and don't drive under the influence. 

"We want people to enjoy their holiday celebration and remind them that if their holiday celebration does involve alcohol, to get a designated driver," states Sgt. Mike Watson, Missouri State Highway Patrol. 

The State of Missouri reported 5 fatalities over the last Christmas holiday.
