GALENA, KS.--- Galena Police Officers spent their morning carving turkey, bagging rolls, and cutting pies. They later delivered the dinners to the homes of about 60 low income Galena residents. The department received a $1,000 donation from Wichita based contractor, Reece Alliances lC. With that money, they were able to buy 6 turkeys, 40 hams, and a lot of side dishes.

"It feels good to be a part of it. The big part was the thousand dollars we received to make it all happen from Reece Alliances, so that's what made it happen," states Larry Delmont, Galena Police Chief.

About 20 people, including officers, their spouses, and children helped put the meals together.
