JOPLIN, MO.--- Heading out to the Northpark Mall in Joplin is always fun on Christmas Eve, because the men all look very confused. Some are even having to phone a friend on what to buy their loved ones.
Robert Helm is a fellow last minute shopper. He has been married for 52 years and pretty much every gift he buys his wife, she returns. He says the longer you're married, the harder it is to shop for them.

"I can't talk about the other ones, but mine, she's got her own way about her. She temperamental when it comes to what she gets for Christmas," states Robert Helm, Last Minute Shopper.
Helm does recommend never show up empty handed on Christmas morning.
