JOPLIN, MO.--- Computer Trade and the City of Joplin will accept unwanted electronics this Friday at the Joplin Recycling Center. The "Electronics Waste Drop Off Event" is designed to keep toxic and hazardous materials out of land fills. In addition to recycling your old electronics, Computer Trade will also remove hard drives and destroy them on site.

"If you've ever typed in an address or a credit card number or anything it is in there, the most important thing you could ever do is get rid of the hard drive," states John Calentine, GM, Computer Trade.

The event is free and open to everyone, regardless of where you live. The drop off event is on Friday, January 4th. Just come to the Joplin Recycling Center.
