Sometime in the last year, the building's roof collapsed. City leaders are requesting the owner make the necessary restorations to the facility.
"The safety of our citizens is paramount. There's been a lot of money, time, and effort spent down in our town square with dream community revitalizing a lot of our properties for retail and residential. The last thing we want is an eye sore down there," says Neosho Mayor, Richard Davidson.
City council members say if the restorations are not made, they will be forced to demolish the building.
