Pittsburg Free Electronic Waste Recycling

PITTSBURG, KS.--- It costs $5 or more to recycle electronics at the Southeast Kansas Recycling Center in Pittsburg. This Thursday through Saturday, you can do so without paying a dime.

The center's director holds this kind of drive twice a year. He say's with new technology continuously coming out, many people are left with old and unwanted items that are not easy to dispose of.

"We're fortunate to have adequate landfills in this area however we want to keep it that way and electronics increasingly becoming more problematic," states Mark Mehall, SEK Recycling Director.

The recycling center is located at 615 South Joplin in Pittsburg. The drive will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
