JOPLIN, MO--- Brad Belk, The Director of the Joplin Museum Complex says he's spent the past two years putting the book together. It captures a chronological timeline from the college's establishment in the 1937 to the May 22nd tornado. The book integrates a collection of historical documents and short stories. Belk says around 15 alumni contributed to the book.

"What we tried to do is to give some sort of feeling of those different perspectives of those different years," says Belk.

He anticpates the book to be available to the public this spring.
