Neosho Courthouse Cameras

The Newton County courthouse is increasing security and becoming a bit high tech. The Newton County courthouse has installed three new cameras at each of their entrances. All traffic going in and out will be monitored on one of these cameras. With the recent acts of terrorism on our country, the county courthouse is taking measure to make their employees and the public feel safer. The total cost of the cameras was $4,100. The camera record onto hours of tape that can be reviewed if need be for security purposes.
