Updated: January 7, 2009
A Four-State fire department will soon be equipped with extra life saving equipment. The Neosho fire department has received a $10,000 donation from La-Z-Boy Midwest. The funds will be used to buy defibrillators. The machines are useful in cardiac arrests and heart attacks. La -Z-Boy representatives say it`s a good way to show community support. The FDA is expected to approve a new model defibrillator next month. The Neosho Fire Department hopes to have its new units by January.
