Pitt State and MSSU swept on the road

Missouri Southern's inconsistency on the basketball court continued to plague them Saturday at Fort Hays State. The Lions men lost their fifth straight game 83-69. The women's losing streak stretched to six with a 62-55 loss.

Meanwhile in Topeka, the Gorillas followed suit as they were swept by Washburn. The Pitt State men lost 67-51 while the women lost their 3rd straight 58-44.

In Division 1 hoops, the Jayhawks' 18-game win streak came to an end with an 85-80 loss at home to Oklahoma State. It's the Cowboys first time winning in Phog Allen since 1989. It's also the first Kansas loss at home since January 2011.

Their rival and 18th ranked Kansas State managed to hold off a late push from Oklahoma on the road to win 52-50. In the SEC, 17th ranked Missouri handled business at home against Auburn 91-77.
