JOPLIN, MO.--- Organizers have been preparing for months for this weekend's "Jammin For Jasmin" benefit concert. It's designed to help raise money for 6-year-old Jasmin Booth who was diagnosed with Leukemia.

Jasmin has been undergoing treatments at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, but recently ran into more health problems which could prolong her treatment. Family members and friends say this will be a fun night filled with music to support a worthy cause.

"I think it will bring awareness to Leukemia and the fact that kids in growing numbers are starting to be affected by Leukemia, and I also want to be able to help Jasmin be able to afford medical care," said Sarah Goodwin, Organizer.

"Jammin for Jasmin" will be held this Sunday, February 17th at JB's Piano Bar in downtown Joplin. The event will run from 5 until 11 p.m. and feature 5 live bands, a raffle, and silent auction. All proceeds from the event will go towards helping the Booth family pay for Jasmin's treatment.
