ARMA, KS.--- As the expansion of Highway 69 in Arma draws near, the Kansas Department of Transportation asks residents to keep them updated with property changes. If you have bought or sold land along the highway, you are encouraged to call the KDOT office.
The changes eventually reach the department, but crews want to be aware of them as soon as possible. They want to ensure the new or existing owners know about the project's impact to nearby land. Highway 69 will be expanded into a 4 way from Arma to Fort Scott. Roadwork is expected to begin next fall.
