PITTSBURG, KS.--- Officials with Westar Energy say at one point, several hundred customers lost power in parts of southeast Kansas because of this past week's storm. People who live and work in Bourbon, Allen, Wilson and Woodson counties were affected on Westar's network.
However, crews are reporting that all outages have been resolved. They say the combination of the heavy snow and strong winds caused power lines to freeze and equipment to malfunction, leading to the outages.
