JOPLIN, MO.---- People were lined up early this morning to welcome the Goodwill store back to Joplin. The Joplin Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting to open the new store on Range Line.

Helen Higgimbotham is back working at the store. She was one of the three people inside the building when it was destroyed on May 22nd, 2011. She's says it's nice to be back.

"It is just beautiful, it is just beautiful. Nothing will ever be the same. It's better and just nice," says Helen Higgimbotham, Goodwill.

The new store is 2,000 square feet larger than the old one and was constructed ahead of schedule.
