MIAMI, OK.--- A piece of wood now covers one of Family Video's glass doors. Officers believe someone threw a brick at the door to get into the store Thursday morning. The thief ran off with $500 in cash. Police say the burglar could be an employee.

Authorities say workers are the only ones who know where the money drawer is kept after hours. The key to the drawer is also kept in a specific location. Authorities haven't yet named any suspects.

"We're canvassing the neighborhood, looking for video surveillance from other businesses, talking to possible witnesses. It's just an ongoing investigation," said Chris Leamon, Miami Police Department, Detective.

The incident caused around $300 worth of damage. If you have any information on the crime your are asked to contact the Miami Police Department.
