JOPLIN, MO.--- Missouri Southern State University students are getting the chance to look at potential employers. The MSSU Spring Career Fair was held today in the Leggett and Platt Athletic Center.

85 employees from businesses, organizations and universities were available to the students. Organizers say this is a perfect way for students to make a great first impression.

"When they get out into the job market, their resume may be 1 of 100 for those job postings. At a career fair, you actually get to get in front of those people and have the opportunity to sell yourself where you usually don't have that opportunity," said Nicole Brown, Director of Career Services.

Employers can also post job positions through the MSSU Job Network. To go to their website, click here.
