Rates Drop in Natural Gas

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Winter is just around the corner, and it looks like your heating bills may be a little lower this season. The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved the winter natural gas rates for customers of Missouri Gas Energy. The rate decrease of 31% takes effect tomorrow. The decrease should reduce the bills for the average customer by about $217 through March of next year. The reduction is a result of a drop in the wholesale cost of natural gas.
