MSSU Safe Spring Break Advisory

By: Alisha Culbertson
Updated: March 12, 2013
JOPLIN, MO.--- Missouri Southern State University students are preparing for a safe spring break. The MSSU advising, counseling, and testing, or ACTS office is offering tips throughout the week on how to stay safe during the vacation.

The group offers advice on sun exposure, travel, responsible alcohol consumption, and personal safety. An impaired driving demonstration is also part of the program. Coordinators say they want students to have fun while being safe.

"We just want to let them know that there are ways to behave responsibly, have a good time and be responsible," said Sarah Nelderberg, Counselor, MSSU ACTS Office.

A talent show will be held tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. in Taylor Auditorium.
