You will soon see your money at work at Joplin High School. A groundbreaking ceremony was held today in the rose garden at the school. The last phase of construction to Joplin High School is just about to get underway. This phase will add new classrooms, library, and a new cafeteria. The building has sat virtually untouched for the last 50 years. But Superintendent Jim Simpson says this construction will renew Joplin High School for the next 50 years. This is part of a $10-million dollar project. The construction will begin sometime next week.
