Neosho Break-In Stabbing

NEOSHO, MO--

Officers were called to a home on 116 North High Street in Neosho around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon. They found a 28 year old man stabbed with a kitchen knife. He was taken to Freeman hospital in Joplin and is listed in critical conditon. Investigators say the man who was stabbed had broken into the apartment of the resident and assaulted him. They believe the resident stabbed the intruder in self defense. No charges have yet been filed.
