Joplin 2013 Third Thursday Event Starts

JOPLIN, MO.--- Local teenagers will have their art on display at this week's Third Thursday Event. The Spiva Center for the Arts will be open for people to see their exhibits. They created self portraits in Andy Warhol's pop art style. The exhibit will be on the 2nd floor of the gallery.

15 students participated, the theme is that life and art are inspirable. This is the first Third Thursday of the year and the event will take place in downtown Joplin from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It is free to the public.
