Miami Man Sentenced

A Miami man has been sentenced to jail time for making meth near a school. An Ottawa County jury returned a guilty verdict against Paul Nathan Johnson yesterday. He was given 20 years for manufacturing a controlled substance, 4 years for doing so within one thousand feet of a school. He also received 2 years for weapons possession and one year for possession of drug paraphernalia. The sentences total 27 years of jail time. He must also pay a $60,000 fine.
