Flu season is just around the corner and local residents at high risk have a chance to arm themselves against it. St. John`s Regional Medical Center is sponsoring the 7th annual Drive-By Flu Clinic. It will be held tomorrow morning beginning at 6:30 a.m. under the canopy at the main entrance of Northpark Mall. Vehicles should enter from the north side of the parking lot. Recipients are asked to wear short sleeves. The free flu shots are available for persons age 50 and older and to patients whose physicians have identified them as being high-risk. The shots are limited to the first 1,200 people. Persons should not receive the flu shot if they have had a cold or taken antibiotics within the last two weeks or if pregnant.
