A Four State woman receives an award for her outlook on life. Living every day to the fullest is one of life`s lessons we should all follow. One Columbus Kansas woman is a shining example to us all. 76-year old Hospice patient Nadine Johnson shares her spirit for life, everyday. So much that Johnson has been named hospice patient of the year.

Several friends and family members joined Mrs. Johnson for a celebration in her honor at the medical lodge. But this isn`t the only honor Johnson has received. She wears the crown of Mrs. Columbus, a title given to her in October.
