Salvation Army's Hunger Stop

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Four State residents are literally driving to help put a stop to hunger. The Salvation Army and its advisory board kicked off it`s annual Thanksgiving and Christmas season by holding a Hunger Stop. Joplin drivers could be seen stopping at the corner of 7th and Main this afternoon giving donations. Volunteers spend the entire day on all four street corners. The money raised will be used to serve needy families through the holiday season.
