Salvation Army Donations

Updated: January 7, 2009
It`s the season of giving and one local Salvation Army desperately needs you to do just that. Thanksgiving is just about a week away and the Salvation Army is in need of food items to prepare the community Thanksgiving dinner. At this time the organization has not received any turkeys, cranberries, stuffing mix, gravy, potatoes or any other items needed to prepare a full-scale Thanksgiving dinner. The Carthage Salvation is asking you to donate these items to help others. Items can be dropped off at the Carthage Salvation Army at 125 East Fairview. The meal will be served at Fairview Christian Church from 11:30am until 1:30pm on Thanksgiving Day.
