A local storeowner is arrested after officials say he threatened two people with a shotgun. Joplin police officers have arrested 70-year old Cecil Thomas owner of Five Star Army Surplus in Joplin. Officials say the shopowner used a shotgun to threaten two people trying to repossess a security alarm. Joplin police officers entered the store with their weapons drawn before arrested Thomas. He may be charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
