Salvation Army Location Expansion

The Salvation Army is adding an extra location for the busy holiday season. The additional building is located at 7th and Grand in Joplin. The building will provide extra space for all of the army`s holiday projects. Volunteers are busy sorting out all the different toys and clothes by age groups to be given to the children.

"We have all of our applications filled out by a child`s name age and then needs. And so as the gifts come into the church for our donations, we sort them out by age group on the tables and then we take all of our applications and find what that child has requested."
Now if you`d like to make a donation to the Salvation Army they can be reached by phone at 417-624-4528. Or gifts can be dropped off at 7th and Grand or at their main office at 320 East 8th Street.
