A Four State county will soon be adding to their sheriff`s department, both human and canine officers. Delaware County Oklahoma Sheriff Lenden Woodruff says he`ll use grant money from the U.S. Justice Department to purchase a drug dog. Woodruff says the grant totals just over $30,000. The dog will be acquired in the next few weeks and could cost as much as $7,000. Woodruff says the animal will be used for searches and will also be available for use in schools throughout the county. Woodruff also hopes to use some grant money to hire two additional deputies.
