Anhydrous Ammonia Tank Ruptures

Two men are in serious condition following a close encounter with a dangerous chemical. Investigators say the two were taken by LifeFlight to St. John`s Hospital in Springfield after suffering anhydrous ammonia burns. Officials say a small propane tank ruptured while the men were in the car. The incident took place yesterday afternoon on 71 Highway North of Carthage. Officials found other components of a meth lab inside the car. So far, no charges have been filed.
