Pie in the Eye Fundraiser

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The act of giving extends to the military family this holiday season. More than 400 National Guard troops, retirees and family members gathered at the Joplin Armory for an afternoon of fellowship for a great cause. Troops from Neosho and Joplin teamed up to raise money for Family Support Groups of Southwest Missouri. On a lighter note, the Pie in the Eye Fundraiser allows some of the troops put a pie in the face of one of their commanding officers.
