Sunbeam Deal Fall Through

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The future of a major Four State manufacturing plant is in limbo. An effort to purchase the Sunbeam plant in Neosho has apparently fallen through. Its the second time in less than two months that a potential buyer has decided not to purchase the facility. Sunbeam officials say the company was unable to reach an agreement with outdoor leisure products. Its still uncertain how the failed effort to buy the plant will hurt the company`s work force. Sunbeam employs 700 full time workers and nearly 500 part time workers. Sunbeam is currently under bankruptcy protection.
