Updated: January 7, 2009
A Four-State theme park has bucked a national trend of declining attendance at amusement parks since the September 11th attacks. Officials at Silver Dollar City in Branson say the park is on pace for a 5% increase in attendance over last year. She says the 1800s-themed park is also expecting a strong Christmas. Just more than two million people have attended the park so far this year. Unseasonably warm weather has been a boost to tourism in Branson, especially when compared with last year`s snow and ice.
