James Dacy Memorial Scholarship

A memorial scholarship is being set up to honor a Four State police officer. A ceremony was held in Pierce City today to announce the establishment of the James Dacy Memorial Scholarship. Dacy was the chief police chief in Pierce City and a former officer on the force in Joplin. The fund will held area students further their education. Dacy was killed while responding to a call on August 8th of this year.
