Jones Running for County Collector

A longtime Newton County resident announces his political intentions. John Jones of Neosho announced today he is seeking the republican nomination for Newton County Collector. Jones is a 50-year resident of the county and recently retired from La-Z-Boy Midwest after 30-years in management. During a news conference today Jones says the real need in government is to focus on serving the customer or residents. Longtime County Collector Claude Blakely decided not to seek re-election.
