Courtney's Confession of Diluting Drugs

Attorneys for a pharmacist accused of diluting cancer drugs are trying to get his confessions thrown out. Robert Courtneys attorney repeatedly asked an FBI agent today if a deal was offered to get the druggist to confess. Officers said at today`s hearing that no such promises were made. Courtney faces 20 federal charges that he weakened the chemotherapy drugs gemzar and taxol. He has pleaded innocent and is jailed without bond. The government says Courtney confessed to diluting the drugs to boost profits.
